Suitcases

All of us have baggage. Most of it can be attributed to trails and tribulations, but sometimes our baggage isn't just emotional. I have 3 children from another marriage. Now that's baggage I will not consider a burden. It is a blessing. More to the point. Everything in our lives can be considered baggage. Even the emotional weight we carry around from our childhood. Good bad or neutral. BUT, (the good news) It is our baggage that makes us who we are and builds our character. Without those suitcases, we would have empty lives.
I've decided to deal with my baggage. Instead of regretting the past, count those stumbling blocks as stepping stones in climbing up for the view that we want to see.
I'm a Christian, so that doesn't mean I should toss my baggage aside. I prefer to think of my bags as "on wheels". That way, I can pull it along with me, but it loses some of the "burdeness" of it.
So, here's to luggage on Wheels! Praise the Lord!

Suzanne, throughout the years, you and I have shared our baggage.....through thick and thin. You are a stronger person because of you lugging that baggage and dealing with it. You have been blessed, my friend. As always,
Hugs,
Mel
